Tutorial Result
Written by Ian Poole

Harry Pound from Gloucester enjoyed a hectic 24 hours recently at Brasenose 1 lake at Linear Fisheries with Jon on one of his tutorial sessions. With perfect fishing conditions and plentiful of activity from the carp, Harry and Jon decided to fish solid PVA bags and caught fish at all ranges, with the steady action through the day and at first light produced 19 takes with 15 landed. Harry learnt how successful solid PVA bag fishing can be and will undoubtedly be using his new skills on his local venues.

A mix of Mini Grubber pellets, 3mm Sucka pellets, D-Liver boilies and a generous glug of Hemp Oil certainly enticed the fish into a feeding frenzy. Harry was amazed of the oil slick the Hemp Oil was giving off and the large slicks created a hive of activity around the baited areas.

As the day progressed the fish sizes got better and it was only a matter of time before one of the rods produced a better fish. Late afternoon and a slow steady take rattled off, and as Harry lifted into the fish it was pretty obvious that he was attached to something a bit better. After a few powerful runs and an attempt to weed Harry up the fish decided to eventually make the unwelcoming sight of the landing net mesh. Harry's eyes lit up as i said i thought it was a 20 pounder and as the scales tipped round to 20lb 6oz Harry was well chuffed.

Harry commented, 'Thank you  for a awesome 24 hours carp fishing at Brasenose1. I caught a new PB 20lb 6oz, an absolute chunk'

Jon Commented, 'It's great to see a young angler learning new tricks and appreciate that it's not all about catching thirty pounders. Hopefully Harry now has a bit more confidence in his fishing and can also pass on some techniques onto his mates as well. Well done on your new PB. Signed, Sealed, D-Liver
Written by jon

A new year and a new range of Bankside goodies are ready to be released. The new D-LIVER range has been tested thouroughly and has taken plentiful captures to over 50lb already. D-liver has a superb meaty taste and smell that is instantly recognisable as a nutritious food source. Combining our exceptional liver powder, special blend of flavours and taste enhancers this bait offers a real alternative and more importantly is completely different from most baits available today. If you're looking for that edge this year, then why not give it a try.

D-Liver will be available in 12mm and 16mm, these are boiled for a minimum time to ensure maximum nutritional value is retained. Matching Pop Ups, Shelf Life paste, Xtract and Bag mix is all available providing a complete range for all fishing situations.

D-Livering The Goods Already

Someone who has been doing rather well this winter whilst testing the D-Liver range is Nigel Williams from Cheltenham. This pristine 31lb 8oz common from a tricky undisclosed venue is one of only a few fish banked this winter, so well done Nige. A glugged D-liver pop up over a scattering of freebies was the successful tactic. Nige Commented 'There are quite a few anglers baiting areas all the time on this venue, so I needed a bait that was different and one that I would have confidence in. Judging by the fish showing over the spots all the time, D-Liver certainly encourages interest and will be my first choice for this year'.
