Alistair Campbell is one of an increasing number of local anglers who are putting their faith in the new Bankside D-Liver freezer bait and just this week he sent an email to let us know how he's been getting on. Deciding to target the popular Hunts Corner Lake on the Richworth Linear complex, it's fair to say that Ali's been doing rather well!

Ali's last two sessions on Hunts Corner have accounted for no less than 24 carp. This has included fish of 26-08, 28, and a 29-14 topped by a mirror of 31-04. In between trips to Hunts Ali has also been creeping around Oxlease for a few hours at a time and this has resulted in another 6 carp to just under 20.

All the fish were caught on Bankside Tackle 12mm D-Liver Boiles fished in solid PVA bags of Mini Grubber Pellets and crushed D-Liver Boilies. These were fished tight to the weedbeds at various ranges either on their own or over a light spod mix of hemp and sweetcorn. Rigs comprised of 2ft of ESP leadcore, a 21/2oz Korda Square pear inline lead and 3in braided hooklinks with a size 7 ESP Curve hook.
